Lion's Share Marketing Group is a new company founded on 25 years of experience in the banking industry. Founder, President & CEO, Sharon Lyon began her career in the Financial division of a large commercial bank in Houston, TX. During her 10 years at the bank, Sharon became an efficiency expert, creating new processes and automating manual procedures to improve financial forecasting and lower operating expenses. Upon leaving the bank, Sharon worked as an independent banking consultant, including sub-contract work for Ernst & Young's banking division. In 1991, she joined a leading core-processing outsourcer. For the next 15 years, she served in multiple capacities, from Director of Client Communications to Senior Vice President of Marketing. During that timeframe, Sharon had the opportunity to work with hundreds of banks of all sizes, charters and market strategies. She became acutely aware of the unique challenges facing community banks and developed a life-long commitment to help “her bankers”. Sharon also developed deep expertise in marketing technologies-including CRM, MCIF, Internet Banking, and Email Marketing-and how to use technology-based solutions to achieve specific business objectives.
